The University of Colorado Health Sciences Center (UCHSC) project at Fitzsimons campus in Aurora included:

• 1.8 million square feet
• Horizontal station cabling
• Building copper and fiber backbone/riser
• Campus outside plant infrastructure
• Telecommunications room build-out
• Documentation: CAD, fiber and copper test results

Academic Office West

This is an eight-story structure with 204,974 gross square feet of faculty office space located just west of the Research Center I South Tower. The project included approximately 1,850 voice and data drops and eight telecom rooms. Estimated start date was upon award with completion August 2007.




Education I Building

This is a five-story structure with 115,251 gross square feet of education space located just east of Building 500. It includes multipurpose classrooms, lecture halls, instructional and computer laboratories, student community, clinical performance, pharmacy, physical therapy, and skill labs for nursing space. The project consisted of approximately 500 voice and data drops and five telecom rooms. Start date was January 2007 with completion June 2007.




Education II and Academic Office East

This two-building, five-story structure with 275,376 gross square feet of education space is located just east of the Lazzara Center for Oral Health and the Eduction I buildings. Both buildings are connected by an educational bridge. This project included approximately 1,450 voice and data drops and 15 telecom rooms. Estimated start date was upon award with completion August 2007.




Facilities Support Buildings

This is a three-story structure with 68,003 gross square feet of support services space located on the northeast corner of the campus. The project included approximately 350 voice and data drops and four telecom rooms. Estimated start date was December 2006 with completion May 2007.




Library

This is a four-story structure with 113,005 gross square feet of collection, study, computer access, and administration space located north of Building 500. The project included approximately 375 voice and data drops and seven telecom rooms. Estimated start date was May 2007 with completion July 2007.




Parking Structure

This multi-level structure with 500,000 gross square feet of space will provide 1,550 parking spaces and is located north of Building 500. The project included approximately 60 voice and data drops and two telecom rooms. Estimated start date was May 2007 with completion July 2007.




Research Center II

This is a twelve-story structure with 506,000 gross square feet of research/lab and faculty office space located just west of the Research I North Tower. The project included approximately 3,700 voice and data drops and 23 telecom rooms. Estimated start date was June 2007 with completion June 2008.
